    I heard from someone that an anomynous bet was made for £251,000 sterling that Istabraaq would not finish the race.

    I'd expect this to be bull**** though.

    Yeah that kind of sux thats he was pulled up for all the loads of people that betted on him but charlie swam said that his back was all stiff and didn't feel right and istabraq got a big cheer from the crowd even though he pulled up which was nice!
