Probably something to do with legalities of faxing an acceptance of an offer and all that but even so...

I sometimes watch this show .
Reason: It's so bad , its comedy.
Actually the writers must have comedy in mind and the actors are playing the script well:)

'Er indoors likes it. Lacks a few things (notably fanciable people for either sex, a proper plot and so on) but there are worse things on TV

the worst thing about the show is the dialogue its terrible, they have these north side people saying "Oh Boy" and "You gotta be kiddin" i have a fit every time i watch fair city

No no no. The worst part of that show are the kids. Wherever the show is set (i assume it is in the north inner-city) all the adult characters have real dubs accents and their kids who are plucked out of the Billy-Barry group or CornaNog have the poshest "yah" accents. It's hillarious.

UTV is currently showing 1998 (?) episodes of "Fair City" They are USELESS!!!!!!! I find it hard to believe that it could get any worse, but apparently they have. Praise the Lord that I won't be available at 8.30 on Sunday nights when RTE comes to Sky Digital!!!!!

Im mystified by the way RTE claims to have 500,000 viewers or whatever.No1 watches it!!!Its so crap and the set is the worst since the original crossroads[only the knew crossroads is worse than Fair City].I wouldnt even watch Fair City for the joy of makiung fun of it.That post is left for Eastenders:D Ppl say its depressing but we have a great laugh through it-what with my dad constantly saying things like"Theres 2 things youu need to be in this-ugliness and bad acting ability".And hes got a great point.Anyway we like atn the end when we start the thud thud thud theme when we think its about to break on:)

Have you noticed how they shoot a lot of their scenes outside the radio centre in donnybrook.It's been the bank and the college.
