I've tried to acces page thru the cloak.net but no joy, I get a java i/o error.

    Any way around this?
And please no posts about how I should be working, its Friday, I dont do Friday's.

sounds like your firewall is blocking the ports that the applet uses.

if thats the case - no joy - thats the whole point :)

see if cou can get the admin to set up a socks proxy of summat - or get games that use port 80...

    whats the cloak.net ? a http redirect ?

    Possibly use the program fpipe.
It will make a tunnel to port 80 on the firewall which the firewall will allow through but you can 'pipe' the tcp connection and run a connection that goes through port 80 on the FW however is changeable to another port from the FW.

You may have to do some tweaking with the java game program to get it to run but shouldnt be 2 hard.
