    Does anyone know how i go about getting one of these? a permanent of 6 month one??

    You should be able to sue your irish Visa, though you have to get it set right with them before you go, they usually take a few weeks to get done, better off ringing up who your visa bak is..

    Ignore that website. Lottery based visas you DO NOT have to pay for.

    It's a well known (legal) scam in the US. The processing place does nothing except forward on the form that you could of just mailed yourself.

    While certain law firms with deal with a obtaining visas, they normally do it for companies and they have no effect on getting your visa except filling out the paperwork.

    Use this site instead.

    6 months? Is there a student visa? You can work for 6 months as part of an Irish company in the US parent company AFAIK, but not sure of anything else.

    permanent requires a green card.

    going over on a holiday (no visa) and getting work is both illegal and ensures you will get absoluty kack pay.

    The problem i have is that i want to go over there in the next few months ( 5 - 10) but the next lottery visa thing in not till 2004 i heard you can get a six month work visa and renew it when you are over there, i cant go over illegal cause i need to work and earn a decent wage and theres some other stuff i need to do over there that i cant if im illegal, any ideas?

    That mite help a bit, i think its what ur looking for..i think as long as u have an address of where ur living, the person ur living or have contact with and the address of the place of employment, its a matter of filling in the forms, its not too difficult .. hard to understand alot of the stuff tho on the site, i know
