    Anyone know how to create a 'squared' symbol in ms word? (as in X squared) I need to type out the results of a regression

    Yi = Beta0 + Beta2X2 + u

    How do I do this? I found the Beta symbol but dont know how to decrease the size and position of the numbers.
    thank you

    Type in x2 and then highlight the 2 only. Format--> Font and then tick superscript.

    Or...Insert Symbol (normal text) - scroll down and you'll find it there, along with a whole lot more.
