    It's been released, but I can't find a decent download site... WaveFronts own download servers are busy 24/7 and Fileplanet has those stupid long ques.
    Anyone know of an Irish/UK mirror?

    Well I finished downloading it at last... NGI's Fileplanet mirror was nice n' fast.
    The whole interface has "NOT FOR COMMERCIAL USE" plastered across it.... even in the work panes! and anything you render (I assume, not sure because I haven't figured out how to render anything yet!)- gack, very distracting.
    Still though, it appears to have a lot of help/tutorials with it ... so that should be fun.
    Pointless if you want to make funky wallpapers, or want to show off your work to friends... but nice if you just want to learn maya I suppose.
    Just incase anyone's interested.
