Well, following having hugged various members of the boards I've found that there are various attitudes... which do you fall into?

Hugs rule. Although my back cracks when I'm hugged, so it normally involves people hugging me and then freaking out at the long series of pop and crackle noises.

The poll should be multiple choice, I wanted to pick "Hugs are great" and "I like to do untold hugging damage while drunk" . I prefer hugging members of the opposite sex, they're much nicer to hug, but I've been known to give my male friends the odd hug, or wander round with my arm around them, usually when I'm drunk. Most of my male friends don't appreciate being hugged anyway *shrugs*.

I like mills would have liked to have multiple answers to this one. Hugs in general are great hugging women is better! And also the causing untold damage when drunk can be fun too

Actually, we did this kind of personality test thing in work, some occupational psychologist asshole, anyhoo, part of my report said "Don't touch any part of his body when speaking to him"

Forgedabout taxing plastic bags - the government should introduce a new tax on people who like to hug for no apparent reason.

A lot of emotional energy goes into hugging and frankly these spontaneous huggsters are knowingly draining energy from the rest of us for their own evil ends.

Same again for people who say "Thank you" when getting off the bus.

Hugs rule, but only if they're genuine. Hugs from fake people suck; hugs otherwise rock. What about cheek-kisses too? Nothing like a nice cheek-kiss with every hug. Though, hrm, girls kiss girls, and girls kiss guys, but guys don't really kiss guys do they? Except 10% of couse.

It wasn't so much the hug, it was more the deep throat french kissing that embarressed me.
