My problem is I want all my toolbar buttons to have borders . There's an option in the Gnome Control Centre to enable this, but it doesn't apply to the apps mentioned in the subject line (the ones I actually want to have bordered buttons). Does anyone know any way of setting this up for these apps?

    Thanks in advance

where exactly in the gnome control pannel did you apply this setting?

I started the Gnome control centre (gnomecc) went down to Applications page in the Look 'n' Feel section and checked the "Toolbar buttons have relieved borders" checkbox. This had an effect on some apps like GEdit and Glade, but not on the ones I mentioned, which is a real pain as I use KDE mainly and it's just those three I want. I'm trying to make the two environments look as similar as possible.
