Linksys Router problem

I have a linksys router. For some reason the router doesn't tell the machines linked to it the DNS server details.

I logged onto the router and the information is there. The machines say they are offline until I hit retry, or I have to do a release+renew to get the DNS details.

Anyone know how to stop it so it automatically updates the machine with the DNS details?

You mean a router, usually used to connect two different subnets together?

Routers don't generally broadcast dns details, usually that's done using a dhcp server as a scope option. They just build tables of ip address' to MAC address's
