WinXP Problems with GFX card

I have a Matrox G400 Dual Head, recently i updated to WinXP and when i did i updated my drivers to WinXP Beta drivers from www.matrox.com , for some reason the computer constatnly crashed when playing games every 5 mins or so, And WinXP came up with a warning saying that it had something to do with either the drivers for the card or the card itself, something about an infinite loop causing it to crash, To me this sounded like a beta driver problem so i switched back to the previous drivers which are not beta, but still the same problem. Has anyone else had this problem? as its very annoying, if so does anyone have a solution, thanks.

You mean matrox are still going ?
Sorry mate haven't tried one of those cards in years.
Have you checked the WHQL on the microsoft site or support.microsoft.com see if they mention anying between XP and the card ?

a friend of mine had a similar problem with win2k and an ati raedon. the only way i could fix it for him was use the automatic repair option that you get when booting from the win2k cd. im not running xp here at the moment so i dont know if it has the same option if you boot from the cd.
