Leaving the country for a while

Will be staying in Bangkok for a few days followed by Sydney for a few days before having somewhere free to crash so looking for info on how to find hotel accomodation in those 2 places (cheapish) other than Wotif and Lastminute

    Cheers

    Hay Con,

Dont know if you have left yet.

When you get to Bangkok, get on the bus outside the Airport that goes to Koh San Road..

This is the Backpackers Paradise of Bangkok, loads of cheap stuff to buy and loads cheap places to stay. I was there about 4 years ago so it might have changed slightly but hope it is still cheap.

When you get to Sydney as well there are loads of choices, Kingcross is in the City centre but is full of Heroin Addicts (once again 4 years ago, might have changed but doubt it). There are also options at Bondi Beach and the other main beach (I cant remember the bloody name!). There are YHA hostels in the 2 mins from the City so you probably wont have a problem finding one.

Most people try and share apartments or houses because it works out alot cheaper and landlords dont usually ask for anymore then a monmth in advance and a month notice when you are leaving.

Hope you have a good trip.

    cannon
