Don't read this if you don't want to know some of the plot of the upcoming sequel to Blade...

The first 22 pages reveals how ...

    read on...
The movie starts immediately with action scenes, as Blade hunts down a pack of vampires in a nightclub (yes, a lot like the first movie). Eventually, the vampires are all dispatched (thanks to new gauntlets that contain that EDTA from the first movie. There's also a thrilling chase scene. Anyway, once they're all gone, Blade finds a warehouse with Whistler floating in a red fluid. Taking him out, surprise, surprise, he's a vampire. The suicide attempt failed. Remember that serum that Karen was working on in the first movie? Well, it works (though not on Blade because of his unusual birth). When Whistler wakes up, he's a clawing, raging monster, but Blade manages to inject him with the serum. He then forces Whistler into a room with windows, so that in a few hours, the sun will come in, and if Whistler's not changed back, he'll fry. It's an ultimatum Blade gives him. Sure enough, when the sun comes up, Whistler is cured of his blood-sucking ways, and is the same old irrascible guy we loved from the first movie, and heck, his vampiracy even cured his cancer. He's then introduced to Scud, Blade's young super-techie sidekick, who takes us through a "Q" style intro to the new toys Blade gets to play with now. The Charger is souped up, there's a laser gun (very effective on vampires, yes?), and a "hyper-velocity rail gun." And then, on page 23... something happens. You'll have to see the movie to find out what.

    So... sounds interesting, eh?
