    Unfortunatly due to the tempoary deconstruction of Primed they will not be able to play. Neverless Atomic Drop have duley offered their services for the night, confiming it will most definatly but one of best gigs your going to see before Ozzfest this summer.

    Print out the new flyer to get a discount on the door.

    See ya there

    where's Mono?

    I know its not the most typical venue for gigs but it used to be the mean fiddler.

    Anyway it's on wexford street which also hold whelans and the palace where you can pick up a 15year old dalkey burd with a belt for skirt.

    If your walking straight up georges str., (which is a left turn off dame street heading out of town after central bank) Keep going straight heading out of town and its on the first block on wexford street before whelans.

    If i havent completly confused you by know, see you there.

    There will be some flyers in Butts and Bruxxies this weekend that get your a glorious euro off.

    Plus f.ache are supporting superskin this saturday in butts. Shamless plug i know

    i think that it is an ideal venue;
    i saw presence @ their last gig in there with jivebomb and obsolete -rumour has it that mixer beat up beany and that he's now in intensive care RAWK POINTS!-

    the place is ideal for a metal band-or summit you can mosh to.
    provided that there is a good crowd.corruptd always have a good crowd size

    One thing for people organising gigs there is the enormous cost that it is to rent out really. They have recently done it up and it cost around €700. We got a deal cause we had it booked for ages but i think the price should be reduced because the only reason its so high is because normally they have raves there where lets just say that there isnt much alchol being consumed because people are drinking more water, wink wink nudge nudge.

    Damn dance music is single handly putting rock out of the shop. But even the ravers are revolting now. I heard on one website that they are voting with there feet and not going to expensive gigs anymore. Apperently the ambassador is leading this expensive gig craze, charging €30 for a 11.30 start of richie hawton. Even if he is good, for €60 you can have an all day gig in punchestown with 4 of the best live bands in the world.

    Questions have to be asked about how venues are going to turn in relation to the music they have on. With the project opening up, shelter, and new venues all the time, unsigned rock is really getting going. Even look at the article in the irish times this weekend about the underground scene in Dublin.

    Now back to the imediate future, mono thursday minus the ravers see ya there

    thats a very good point, and me thinky that that could be a defining factor in the resurgence in the dublin indie scene...
