    I would say Webmin and MySQL on linux/freebsd.

    its about the best GUI interface going for MySQL and is extremely powerfull.

    Bu there is no client GUI u can run on X or the console that can offer similar functionality, from what I have found anyways.

    Maybe someone else has found something.

    Adam i have heard of that alright, but im trying to get people to use webmin :)

    I'v not used phpmyadmin but i heard nothing but great things about it.

    I use Webmin on my local server and one of my remote machines flamegrill, and it's rocks, but the MySQL module is a big girls blouse compared to phpMyAdmin. Ever since it went to Source Forge, it's come on in leaps and bounds.
