    Heard a rumour that Europe Online have filed for bankruptcy, don't know if it's true, anyone else heard this? Chernobyl?

    Well they have not issued anything to their sharholders or customers so its still an unconfirmed rumour, the only reason it has any weight is because infosat sez so.

    How did you get through.
    Every time i ring i go through the options, and when it gets to the "press 1 if you want to leave a message", i dont and then the phone beeps out to nothing so i hang up.

    chernobyl...dunno what route you took, mine was something like this...if you are an existing customer press.x..pressed x..if you have a technical query press y....an account or billing query press z...hmmm..this is about money so press..z

    Then get the weirdest hold tone (used to work in an international call center so not to preturbed..have heard similar before). I talk to someone there.

    Perhaps you mistook the "beeps" for a hold tone?

    yeah but after the beeping stopped there was just silence for like infinity.
    bah i could'nt care anyways, i have not used any of their services for a long time.
