hmm, this post is pretty old.
anyways yeah I'm mad to get into MTB. I've been doing a lot of road biking lately. Perhaps 30-40 km a day (not in ireland mind you.. in cycle path paradise denmark). I'd like to get a proper MTB but I'm not sure what's a good brand for a novice. I plan to just get a OSI map and hit some trails around my local area (mullingar, westmeath) first and see how that goes. Any advice on a good off road/xc ride?
