If I'm allowed back I'll be doing Architecture/Computer Apps/Engineering/Journalism/Psychology (fat chance I'll get into that one), all in Session 2.

I haven't decided which one I'd put as first choice yet.

as for courses,arrrrrrggggggg why can't gov. and society be on session 2????i got really really excited about it and then realised it is on session 1 and now i'm really blah.

but on the other hand:

The CTYI website was actually useful for once

except for the fact that i couldnt find the proper page, so i had to go and type them out by hand

Does anyone know what Archaeology B is like? Because I was gonna put that down but then someone told me not to cos it's crap and now I'm all confused.
Has anybody done Journalism actually cos I was considering that as well. Oh I love CTYI!! Sven, come visit session 2. I'll give you biscuits - I always have biscuits at CTYI! Though no one noticed last year because of the Curly Wurlys. Oh, I do live the hard life...

I'm probably too late applying to get into any of my choices, but I'm goin IR, E-com, Sociology, Advertising. The form's gone, and I can't even remember why I picked those. Ah well. I don't really care what I get, Last year I got my 4th choice and it turned out fine, so I'll just do whatever.

I can't believe they didn't put music on the list, especially after the demand for it last year!! All the people who moved into it!!! It was amazing!;)

do they still run two psych classes per session? i took it one year and it was a brilliant course.

they don't process the apps on a first come first served basis, as long as the apps are in before the deadline you have a chance of getting the course you want.

Gits won't let me back! Ah well I will be visiting. Definitely during Session 2 and maybe during Sesh 1 aswell. And then I have the rest of the summer to do other things!! Like form a bandymajig! And go to Spain!! And STUFF!!! But I'll miss CTYI... cherish it while you can folks

Is there anyone else who put down Legal Studies as their first choice?

For those of you who want to know:
Eoin the RA who always wore an Arsenal jersey last year is teaching Legal Studies this year.
James Bell is coming back as an RA -- yay!!
Me and other Bob from my school are going to be doing Legal Studies.
Other Bob is about 5'0" and has relatively long hair and an unwashed granny's hat -- he should fit right in.

session 1. anyone that i dont know (which is pretty much everyone) must come and visit me and hunt me down and introduce themselves during session 1, seeing as it is the ONLY time I have to meet anyone because i cant come to reunions or anything because i am inconveniently located in Alaska. Sven, where in the USA are you going? And when? i think i signed up for medicine in the lab, then psychology.

Neil, I amn't 100% sure but I am pretty sure. Seán had recieved his application so unless something changed on his criminal record between last summer and this one I don't think it'll be a problem. He wasn't going to go up until a month or so ago but something changed and now he can -- which is good.

my hat goddamn well is unique it's just that there's a bunch of sad gits who have decided to go out and buy cheap knock offs of it thus making it "in fashion" and making me miserable because there's a bunch of nasty trendies wearing my ****ing hat!! AAAAAARRRRRRGHHHHHH!!!!!!!!! IT MAKES ME MAAAAAAD!!!! I hate them all *SO* much.

Not this year, but I did it last year and it is fantastic! Just keep pestering to get to do field studies (BEST THING EVER) and to do them in town!

Also be very proud. Last year, I think something like 100 (or much more if memory is correct) applied for it. It's the most popular course. YAY!

how old do you have to be for CTYI and what do you have to do to get into it?

You have to be under 17 as of end of July (usually 22nd - 27th) and you have to be over 12.

Also, you gotta take part in a "talent search", do a SAT, score particularly highly and pay a **** load of money.
