Alo, was wondering if anyone here knows a nice place to get cheap, reliable co location services? It should preferably be in ireland, but it can be UK aswell . . .

    Any ideas? smile.gif

    http://www.irishwebhosting.com

Fairly cheap, there are some other places, but I would advise looking somewhere else apart from UK or Ireland for doing this, if you want a better deal.

the question is if you want price or quality..

If you want quality and access to your machines then you want Ireland..

If you just want webspace then there are 100,000 places in the US for you

What i meant was co-location for a full system, not a website or something like that smile.gif

Worldport (http://www.worldport.ie/)are a newly founded co. based in Dublin; I managed to get a look at their facility and its pretty state of the art. They've a massive backbone (can't remember how mant Gbits) into Global Crossing
with 2 backup links into a couple of STM\SDH rings. The old reliables like UUnet (http://www.ie.uu.net) are worth a look as well. Mind you, these lot offer more of a pricy corporate service which ain't the cheapest.
