Anyone know anything about this new mobile operator. Do they actually own digifone or is it some sort of collaboration between mobile phone companies in Europe.

mm02 is just the rebranding of digifone which is an off shoot of esat which is owned by BT.
nothing new here apart from the name

mmO2 are an offshoot of BT and basicly are all BT's different mobile networks across europe its kinda like the eircom/eircell setup before vodaphone bought eircell. Same company diffent name type thingy*. Thats pretty much all I know about them bar their share price is doing fairly crap atm.

*thingy this is a very techinal term honest :)

Probably the same twat who came up with the wonderfully imaginative 'Esat Group'. AFAIK, Digifone won't be rebranded as mmO2, it will be just 'O2'. mmO2 is the name of the division. They'll probably market it along the lines of the much-maligned 'breathe' ISP in the UK.
