Quake2 server

I've started a Quake2 server on games2 games2.iol.ie:27910 I''l get the battleground mod on it later. Mapcycle is "q2dm1 q2dm2 city1 q2dm3 q2dm4 command q2dm5 q2dm6 city3 q2dm7 q2dm8" Put down any suggestions you have for it.

You should be able to get the files on barrysworld (ftp.barrysworld.com) or on quake.ie

As for battleground its a serverside mod, the only thing u need to do is create a battle sub directory in your quake2 root.

K well how's about turn up at 8 on Thursday night and have a few battles if enough show?

Need to organise a time, as it's hard to just sit on the server waiting for someone else to appear if you're on dial-up.

I pop in periodicly... so far I have had one short 1-on-1 match. Apart from that the server allways seems to be empty.

yes but only one person there for a short game until my modem crashed my os for some reason.
Great game while it lasted.
