Is there anyway to get the ed driver to probe for irq iomem etc in freebsd on an isa bus?

Or more to the point why is it not probing, do I have to supply parameters?

Why dont you just specify them yourself? You could do it in kenel configuration or use boot -c.

Hmm well I don't actually know what it's irq and base io region is so that is why I might find probing expeditious. I was thinking something like the FreeBSD version of modprobe
    ie
    modprobe somedriver irq=x iomem=y
    etc.
