www.IrishUnsigned.com set to Launch with Dublin Gig.

Irish Unsigned - a new website specifically for unsigned bands and artists to get advice and to get themselves heard - is set to launch officially in Whelans of Dublin on March 8th 2002.

While the site is still in it's very early stages the launch gig will feature Alistair, last year's Hot Press Plugged finalists, as well as the very talented 'Berkeley' who just finished an in-studio working session with legendary Nirvana producer Steve Albini, and 'Sutras' who were the critically acclaimed runners up to Immodium in last years National Student Music Awards and charted with 'Princess'. Might even be more - who knows!? Tickets will cost e7.50 - not bad for 3 or 4 bands on the night, right?

If you happen to have a Demo with you then bring it and give it to us. John Meaghar of the Independent and an A&R Rep from Echo records will be there as will, we think, Jon Walshe of Hot Press.

If you have any questions about the gig, or want to get your band/act involved, contact ron@nciGrapevine.com

More gigs will follow. Want to play one? Got what it takes? Demos on CD to Ron Healy, Irish Unsigned, ROC PR, The Factory, 35a Barrow Street, Dublin 4.

Hey, Caroline? Thanks for the tip.
