    Some of the design decisions behind Lindows are already causing controversy with Linux users, however. For example, Lindows eliminates the familiar Linux (as well as Windows 2000, Windows XP and Mac OS X) notion of different users. Instead, the Lindows customer does everything in the administrator mode, called "root" in Linux parlance, and running applications under other user accounts can cause problems.

    Everything run as root, I wonder how long it will be before the sheer weight of nonsense behind this idea becomes obvious, even to endlusers and anti-virx companies start spouting off about how now in age of the linux virus yak,yak yak, when what they really mean is now in the age of the lindows virus yak,yak,yak?

    What a waste of a perfectly good kernel hmm?
