Favourite Game Areas+Moments

Moments:
Deus Ex,escape from MJ12 base and coming out into you know where.
Half Life,hearing two grunts whining about only bagging scientists(made me cringe in anger >:/ )
Starcraft,when the chrysalis hatches after 2 or 3 levels of minding it.Contents quite a shock.
Zelda(OOT), getting it . Seriously I'd have to say Ganon.

Areas:
Half Life,hunted area,must have loaded that up dozens of times

Deus Ex,Christ loads here. Hong Kong,Paris,New York,everywhere really.
Perfect Dark,first 3 levels I love
Goldeneye, Facility. Nuff said
Baldurs Gate 2, havent been playing long but I like several areas around Amn in paticular

Ill probaly remember loads more later but for now,lets hear yours please.

Final fantasy 7 were Sephiroth just came out of the mansion after reading about his mother and destroyed the village and it cut to the fmv and he looks up for a second and then turn around and he walks through the fire and all u can say is..... cool!!

• finding out what happens when you fill the jar of colour in wizball in the c64.
• shooting the guard in the head while he's taking a **** in goldeneye - n64
• seeing zelda: ocarina of time on the n64 for the first time. blew me away.
• completing Zelda 1 on the NES
• seeing my gaming dreams come true with Mario 3 on the NES
• playing F-Zero on the N64
• playing the origional wipeout on the PS for the first time
• figuring out a puzzle in lemmings that had me going for a week
• Commander Keen on the PC

areas:

• world 8 in mario 3 on the nes
• facility in goldeneye on the n64
• hyrule field in zelda: ocarina of time. IT'S MASSIVE
• first track in outrun on the c64 - a classic
• final dungeon on Zelda 1 for the nes
• first 'act' in Sonic3 on the megadrive
• wario stadium in Mario Kart 64
• final level in wolfenstain 3d
• Koopa Troopa Beach in the origional Mario Kart
• Lei's HongKong(sp?) street stage in Tekken 3

God yes. Going around that claustrophobic, grass tunnel and having the cyberwomen and spider thingys jump out of nowhere...scared the pants off me.

Well i got 2 say when the final fantasy series came out.
When i imported Xenogear 4 the psx, man did it rock !!!
Also when i play secret of mana on the sne
When i first played duke nuken now that was a game
then play gran turismo phew All of them cars i got !!!

Mortal Kombat: Sub-Zero ripping off someones head with the spine still attached.

Final spinal,classic

Moments:
FF7 - weapon getting blown up by midgard.........and vica versa.
Zelda (MM) - Playing good guy vs bad guy with the last boss,evil diety is COOL!
Zelda (OOT) - Stabbing ganon through the head,very refreshing.
Perfect Dark - Playing with elvis in multiplayer,hes so cute
Goldeneye - unlocking invincablility and invisability cheats,sooo refreshing!
Doom - beating a cyberdeamon for the 1st time.

Areas:
Zelda (OOT) - water temple,loads of good puzzles.
Goldeneye - Library (proxy mines are so much fun )
Dues Ex - all of them!
FF7 - whats the planet called again?
doom - phobos anomily

I always liked that level in Flashback where you have to get the terminal card installed before the place blows up - exciting!

the hole size of shenmue 2 has blown me away thus far,still havent finished it
and i remember playin this game,forget which console for "another world" at the start had to run away from a puma or sumthin,great game....

Deus Ex 2 has too much to put in but saving it at a point near the end then doing each of the alternative ways to end the game.. thats real cool!

BG2 has some great ones but more memorable was Planescape Torment.. the story and style of play was top class RPG.. having to find your identity, interacting and conversing with your party members and being able to switch class on the fly!

• CS - Wasting six guys in a row 'shotgun style' with an AWP at close range. Fainting from nervous exhaustion afterwards.
• DoD - Frustrated, running like a mad thing down the centre of the street from one end of the map to the other on 'Caen', capturing all the flags by myself (other than flag 1).
• Red Alert - Being pulversied into the ground, but for 4 war factories and spending 30 minutes looking for a construction base, then putting 150 tanks into seomones base.

Anyway I got the 4 endings and I must say the 4th secret one is a tad...odd

Final Fantasy 7: Getting a golden chocobo.
Final Fantasy 7: Getting Knights of the round.
Final Fantasy 7: Beating the ruby weapon (Emerald was a tad easy)
Final Fantasy 7: Getting the High Wind (the music 0wn3d)
Counter-Strike: Getting my 1st triple HE kill

yawn....im sure you have protected thousands from absolute disaster...my god..one moment in the game, 2 seconds of game time out of 40+hours...
And it really was a huge spoiler considering the game is 5/6 years old..etc ect.

Just to elaborate on the points on Another World...that game was class!

Cool Moment: :cool:
At the end of Another World, the main character is knocked uncouncious (either that or he's killed!) and the guy who was helping the character all through the game, picks him up and then hops on some big bird and flys away...classic! just like a film!

Cool Moment part 2: :cool:
fighting ganon at the end of Zela : ocarina of time. He wasn't even that hard, but the cool aspect of hopping to the side, blocking with your shield, fighting valiantly...classic moment! One of the best.

hmmmmmmm........

The REAL end of Bubble Bobble (secret road not, level 99).

Half-Life - spotting the Administrator all along the way - I knew it was leading up to something...

Must agree with Mark1Millions Deus Ex, escape from MJ12 base and coming out into you know where and smaks, filling the jars in Wizball. Finishing Wizball was even better (me as Wiz and my brother as the Cat).

Areas:
Max Payne when you're going through the V trips - it frightened me a lot.
Also, running through the burning building was fun.
(Max is relativly fresh in my head)

Max payne had some great moments! Like when you get stuck in a room and then a whole rake of goons break in.. i had only a tiny but of life yet and refused to go back to a previous save point! So stayed at it until i killed them all while staying alive..

The FMV intro to xenogears was brilliant but the game was a bit of a let down.

The beach attack in FF8 was very cool but again the game as a whole was a bit of a let down.

Clouds flashbacks in FF7 were all brilliant,problly the best parts of any game ever.

Silent hill ,when you go through the clock tower at the school.

Going into the chapel in anti-gravity in System Shock 2.
