does anyone have this bit of hardware and can you tell me how to connect the wiring, which one is which?

ive aquired a 4 core electric cable for it to connect it to a reciever with a built in positioner which needs to connect m1 and m2 for controlling the motor, something called m.pulse and of course the gnd(ground wire presumably).

instructions that came with it are a bit shady and tell you in depth on how to reset the limit switches and instructions on attaching the polar mount to the actuator, but not about the correct wiring to the positioner. ive attached the sketch of the inside of the actuator.

i "could" hire a installation type of person to do everything for me, but then i wouldnt learn nothing <edit> rephrase the last bit ... i wouldnt learn anything </edit> :) hehe

If you look on the inside of the cover there should be a diagram. M1,2 are the motor drive and pulse and ground go to the sensor. After you connect the motor check that its going in the right direction, if not reverse the motor wires.

    Hope this helps

Aaah this brings back memories of wiring up my own many moons ago.
Just don't let any sheep near those wires as they love the taste of them:D
