how do you edit what starts up when u log on on windows 2000?

everytime i log on my pc a bloody annoyng web page pops up telling me i can copy DVDs for $39.99.
morpheous always start too and puts an icon on the tray in the bottom right corner beside the time.

i've looked in administrive tools/services and can't see anything there that starts automatically that would cause bith those events to happen.

simple answer check start-programs-startup and if its in there deleted it..

more complex is the same as win95 and 98 if you dont use msconfig

    go to regedit (start-run)
then HKLM (local machine)-Software-microsft-windows-currentversion-run and have fun deleting.. also others like runonce etc etc..

    cheers Saruman.

The regediting worked for morpheous and a few others but not for the popup windows explorer page.

you can try fidling with win98 msconfig in win2k.. only place apart from registry that i know of is the startup menu.. otherwise it is in the registry.. next time it comes up get the link (if it does not show in the window then right click, properties) then search registry for that URL
