Text size in IE5

I like my text size set to "smaller" in IE5.

However, I find that most of the time (but not always) when I close down IE and restart it, my text size reverts to "medium".

How do I make it stay permanently set to "smaller" ?

I'm not sure, but I've also found (in IE6) that the Status Bar hides itself when you close the window and the Google Toolbar never stays where you want it (i.e. it takes a whole row of space instead of fitting in nicely next to the Address bar.)

Not an answer to your question, but:
If you have a wheelie mouse, you can very quickly change the text font size in IE by holding the [Ctrl] key and turning the wheelie mouse to either enlarge or decrease the font. (Also works in other MS Apps, such as Word, Excel etc..)

Samson, i dont know how to fix your problem but are you talking about settings on you own home PC? Or your work pc? If its your work pc chances are its a profile thing.. for instance this piece of **** is locked down to the point i cant change anything and have it stay that way if i log off or reboot... the profile on the server uses defaults.. even internet bookmarks are gone! Yup big brothers a bastard.. but i simply do NOT log off unless i have no choice.. anyway chances are its your home PC your talking about and this ranting is nothing more than me venting anger.
