In a rare interview, infamous boxer Mike Tyson has hinted that he may retire from boxing soon. Asked by talk show host Jay Leno last night, how long does he expect to keep boxing, Tyson replied "Maybe its time for me to leave all this boxing behind me" It's such a fake life. I've been used all my life. Beating guys up all the time, I'm just fed up being treated like this. I want change my direction".

After Tonight Show host Leno what he would do should he retire, Tyson revealed that he may have caught the acting bug.

"Well, Jay to be honest , I've been thinking about doing some acting, the show i most want to do is the English show with the policemen in the country. Whats it called ? Heartbeat, yeah thats it. I've always been a big fan of the show. I really like PC Bellamy, he is such a nice man. The country is so geen and pretty. I would really like to give acting a go. It would be great to be the english country policeman, helping old ladies and drinking tea with Nurse maggie. She could take care of me if i get sick. Aidensfield is a nice place. I could be a policeman chasing those bad guys on those ol motorbikes, man. That would be the ****"." I've always been a boxer and maybe i could try something new"

"Maybe a small role in Heartbeat, could offer me a stepping stone. My ideal role would be in of those English period movies, like Emma or Pride and Predjudice. I'm a big fan of Jane Austen. Her **** is whack."

Thre ball is clearly in the Heartbeat producers court. Iron Mike is clearly keen and would be a huge draw for British TV audiences as the new PC in Aidensfield. On the other side they may face a backlash from womans rights groups as a result of Tysons previous record. As of today there had been no comment from Yorkshire TV.

Thats all the better for boxing. Mike tyson wasjust a trouble maker. He bit off some of Evander holifields ear. he is a pyscho and he needs to be institutionalised!

    Suppafly,

I agree with you but do you think that Tyson will be good for Heartbeat?

    Listen
Tyson is a beast and animal and a monster, the crowd made him this way. He is absolutley useless for anything else other than being the public enemy, and the monster. So they should buy him a cage and simply lower him into the ring when the time is right, he is there for our amusment. As for his opponents, they are getting paid so much that they deserve to fight a savage like Mike. As for Heart beat, now tyson is a good fighter and all but that meat head hasn't got a brain in his head, his voice is ridiculously squeaky and he looks like a chimp in the zoo, so no I cannot imagine that freak acting in any programme, I believe he only said something so far fetched so that people wil feel sorry for him.

    I disagree Always DXXXX

We all make mistakes. maybe its time for us to give his "ironness" some slack.

Tyson has only got this infamous name through boxing and maybe without it he could start building a new life.

And why not acting. From what i remember a couple of ITV's "London's Burning" were ex-boxers

Yeah, this talk of a 4 rounder veteran tournament is bad news. Mike said he doesn't want to fight anymore so the money men should respect that. Tyson will be a draw in whatever he decides to do.

Tyson could possibly end up in the WWE. He has been there before and seemed to have a good time. The money would be good and there would be alot of new training to do but I think Tyson may find it hard being away from some kind of physical exertion. The only thing stopping him may be dropping from a legitimate (unless you count Don King's antics) sport to a not so legitimate sport.

I just saw today that Tyson's manager says he will fight again. In a four round exhibition match possibly against Evander Holyfield of all people.

Turns out that was a reporter making something out of nothing. Fenech is looking into the idea of having a tournament, but it doesn't involved Tyson and won't be four round bouts.

Yeah I wouldn't like to see him fight again either. Definitely time to hang up the gloves.

he's already been in 2 movies.

    edit: http://www.netglimse.com/celebs/pages/mike_tyson/filmography.shtml

he was actually decent in "black and white" but he was playing himself and not a character as such.
