HHGTTG - The Tv series on DVD

    Unnnf!! just bought The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy tv series in Golden Discs in Stillorgan Shopping centre for €25.

    Remarkably they're selling the boxed set of the ENTIRE blackadder series 1 to 4 for €89 (I think). Stay away from the rest of Stillorgan shopping centre as it's terrible.

    amp - who hasn't seen the HHGTTG on Tv since he was a mere ampling so will probably be disapointed. But sure it's only €25.

    Never seen it myself , but people talk about it all the time - best thing ever , blah , blah , blah.....
    Might be worth a look.

    Right watched it last night, it's 6 episodes on one disc and then a 2nd disc full of stuff, inlcuding a very good Making of bit, outtakes. A fairly funny warm-up reel by Peter Jones (the book) actually on the telly. A segment from Tommorows World about Zaphods fake head and some some other stuff. Must be a round 6 hours worth of footage. Fascinating stuff.
