I've started trying out TDM and CTF games recently and was just wondering what sort of binds you lads have for them.

I've seen too many, too quick, to properly take notice, and also is it standard that certain colours are used for attacking, defending etc.?

    thx.

heres what I use for CTF...

    bind INS "say_team ^1INCOMING HIGH^7"
    bind DEL "say_team ^1INCOMING LOW^7"
bind HOME "say_team ^3FLAG LEAVING HIGH"
bind END "say_team ^3FLAG LEAVING LOW"
bind PGUP "say_team ^3FLAG CARRIER ON WAY - ASSIST"
bind PGDN "say_team ^3ATTACK WITH ME NOW!"
bind BACKSPACE "say_team ^3FLAG IS HERE"

Combined with TDM binds, it works well -

    bind f4 "say_team ^1HELP^7"
    bind f5 "say_team ^2SECURE^7"
    bind f6 "say_team ^1LOST^7"
    bind f7 "say_team ^1POWERUP HERE"
    bind f8 "say_team ^3GET READY FOR POWERUPS"
    bind f9 "say_team ^3ATTACK RA^7"
    bind f10 "say_team ^3ATTACK QUAD^7"
    bind f11 "say_team ^2GET MEGA"^7"
    bind f12 "screenshot"

    bind 5 "say_team ^5NEED WEAPON"
    bind 6 "say_team ^5NEED ARMOUR"
    bind 7 "say_team ^2POWERUP DEAD"
    bind 8 "say_team ^5<--- ARMOUR HERE"
    bind 9 "say_team ^5<--- WEAPON HERE"
    bind 0 "say_team ^5<--- TOOK ITEM (back in 30)"
    bind - "say_team ^5<--- TOOK ITEM (back in 35)"
    bind = "say_team ^3<--- MEET HERE"
    bind [ "say_team ^5ILL TAKE ITEM"
    bind ] "say_team ^5YOU TAKE ITEM"
    bind ' "say_team ^5<--- WAITING"
    bind BACKSPACE "say_team ^3GET 30 SECOND WEAPONS!!"

    bind h "say_team coming"
    bind j "say_team understands"
    bind k "say_team negative"

but you should take advantage of the new OSP features which allows you to make teambinds much better than the normal ones.

For example, if you're standing at RL, and theres a spare rail there, if you were to say "<--- WEAPON HERE" everyone on your team would assume a RL is available. But with OSP, you can use the command " #I here" and it will say what Item is available.

You can also display your health (#h) and armour (#a) to your teammates. You can show what ammo you need (#a will display all weapons you have which have 5 ammo or less). #t says the name of the last person you hit on the other team. #c displays where your corpse is.

theres loads more, but you should definitely use #h, #a, and #i.
