    hey all,

    does anyone have any resources for writing an SMNP client and MIB for it ? i have an assignment and am finding it quite unsavoury.

    I know the basics - how snmp works, etc, but am unclear about some of the tech details:
    i know is over sockets, etc, but dont know the protocol
    I dont know how a MIB is supposed to fit into the snmp server service so selectly :)


    ps Java developers - head over to The Irish Java Users Group website - they've revamped the site and are looking for members...
