Even though Liverpool won last night we really need Houllier back and fast! i know he is stil recovering but Thomo last night proved to me that he is not cut out to manage Liverpool! Leaving Anelka on the bench was ridiculous!

And starting Mr. Heskey is a totally different subject - lets just say that its no wonder that Hyypia and Honchoz are playing so well cos there is some competion for their places in Heskey!

As one of the lads in the pub last night said - "Throw Heskey into the reserves for a few games - and let him remember what it feels like to score a goal" but then again he might like to hang around the defence

I've a pain in my t**s with this Heskey situation. He was chosen over Fowler and now given preference over Anelka and left on while Owen was taken off (although the latter was a tad off form on the night).

As for Thompson, he was doing a good job for a while, but I think it was a lot to do with the team being a more eager to go out and do the business (perhaps to help Houllier recover).

Yes, we definately need Houllier back soon:(

As time has ticked on I can't help but wonder if M. Houlier
will return as a day-to-day manager at all, I suspect its all been rather more serious than has been made public.

John Gregory for Anfield anyone (I'm ducking right about...now!)

    Mike.

I do not think he will to be honest....I would not if I was in his situation, did any of you see the program about Dave Bassett and Sam Allderdyce?? Them boys manager lower teams and both had dangerously hight heartbeats, for himself he would be mad to come back and risk his life, I hope he does not because he is a gentleman and it would be a pity for something bad to happen to him
