i had the weirdist dream.....

last night i had a dream that i was a mod on boards.ie and when i woke up this morning i was fully convinced that i was a mod so i rushed down the stairs (because it was realy anoying me at this stage) to have a look if i was, i turned on the comp and it started scanning the c drive i frogot i scedualed it last night it took ages (about 30 mins) it restarted and then it started scanning the d drive at this stage it was pi$$ing me off i realy could rember if i was a mod or not. so in the end i wassent
that was a pretty point less post wassent it?

Sounds to me like 2 things:

1. You need to get out more

2. It's a pathetic hint to see if someone will take pity on you and make you a mod.

Take my advice......You gotta shout louder!!!!

it sounds like he wishes for more responsiblity in his life, boards.ie being a manifistation.

are you tired of being treated in a certain way ? wish for something more in your life ? you want to show you can do more ?

It's not like it's some higher power or something. Fair enough they can move posts around and all that. But it's nothing I would look up to. All they (are supposed to) do is enforce the rules of Boards.ie in their own board, making it a more pleasurable experience for all of us. The reason people are mods, is because they decided to take on some extra work, not because they want to appear higher than everyone else. They simply have a job to do, and after that they are just members like the rest of us.

I say fair play to them for taking on the work, coz not everyone has the time. But just a point to note for anyone who wants to become a mod, members such as myself wouldn't tolerate you in that position if it was simply for some sort of power trip.

And yes, I agree with seamus, get out more. Go see a film, read a book, breathe in, then out, be one with yourself. Coz Man!, there is times you just gotta unplug
