    From Peats website:
Genius 56K Modem - PCI Internal Interface
    Our Price: IR£33.02
    (IR£39.95 inc. VAT)
A economical, affordable internal modem that supports Windows 2000 and TAM (Telephone Answering Machine).

Anyone know if this is a hardware or software modem? The modem below it on the peats site clearly states "motorola 56k v90 software modem", but this doesn't say which and neglects to give a model number so I cannot check on the genius site... they have 2 pci models on the site - one piece of HSP crap and one nice hardware modem...

    Bleh

Ring peats, ask them 'is this a hardware modem'

I did ring them today, and asked for the model number... the fella on the other end of the line seemed ca*** about this for some reason (!) ("Why do you want to know that?") but assured me that it is a hardware modem when I asked.
