This is a fascinating story of corporate subterfuge and the use of underhanded accounting techniques to hide the true financial position of a company. That Elron (in a bankrupt state) were such a major contributor to George Dubya's presidential campaign and the Republican party is a major embarrassment for all concerned, and leads to some probing and accusatory suggestions regarding the relationship between the two.

Personally, I feel that quite a few heads are going to roll, as both parties seek scapegoats for their roll in this fiasco, but the ultimate culprits will be able to emerge relatively undamaged.

Winning Hand

Fairly dodgy dealings alright, interesting article in this weeks newsweek on it, some of it was over my head economics wise but the gist of it was that they fecked alot of people. The anderson accounting firm are also knee deep in it, after having destroyed documents (watergate anyone?).

If the democrats do what the republicans did with clinton (the rapid witch hunt they carried out after zippergat) they can make the rest of bush's term hell.
