Eircom were experimenting with something similar 18 months ago. Obviously they didn't get much further, bu the friend who told me about it at the time was fairly excited about the prospect of Eircom being able to supply this type of content.

Unfortunately it appears to me that the same prospect looks as far away as ever ....

Vidoe on demand, unmetered fast internet, simultaneous phonecalls - it all reads like a dream.
