Computer Animation Tutorials?

    I've been working on an idea for an animated short film... I've got the whole thing scripted and worked out in my head, now all I need to do is actually do the animation.
    And that's where I'm hitting a brick wall... I'm trying to implement it in flash (I assume this is the best thing for it, am I right?), but I can't find any tutorials actually aimed at pure animation.. all seem to be just animation for the web, which isn't really what I'm looking for.

    Anyone got any pointers?
