Bah! cheese and onion! Inna sandwich! And they'd better be King crisps, Tayto are just substandard in comparison.

Waffles - bacon flavor mmmmmmm!!! (I blame you Donal)

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 4,307 ✭✭✭richindub2

    Smokey bacon all the way.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 288 ✭✭TARE

Normaly it's cheese and onion (rippled) but salt and vineger goes oh so well with beer so it's a hard choice really...

Salt and Vinegar is the only one that doesn't leave an awful after taste in your mouth.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,379 ✭✭✭Mills

Has to be cheese and Onion, preferably walkers, but having said that Atari jaguar are pretty tastey too.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 467 ✭✭Cheez

Id have to agree with the slurry of uber taste mentioned
It has such a nice tangy ring to it
    oh ive just cum

    OTHER :

buffulo flavour, the hunky dorey kind

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,379 ✭✭✭Mills

A lot of people I know are mad about those Buffalo flavoured Hunky Doreys, they should probably have been included on the list. I don't see the attraction myself, they don't taste particularly nice and your breath smells absolutely rancid afterwards.

    Salt & Vinegar.

Cheese and onion? Who thought that one up? The spawn of Satan, no doubt.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,485 ✭✭✭Gerry

Salt and Vinegar are evil, wtf is the story with them winning. Cheese and Onion are the business, either tayto, king or walkers. Hunky Dory are potentially good, but way too inconsistent.

Sour Cream & Onion Pringles, Smokey Bacon or those Waffle ones, they own :)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,046 ✭✭✭Dustaz

    Ready Salted, fewls

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,842 ✭✭✭phaxx

Salt and Vinegar! Without a doubt, all other flavours (except sour cream and onion pringles, in moderation) are píss! Especially cheese and onion, ugh, makes me want to hurl.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,309 ✭✭✭✭Bard

Why no Sour Cream and Onion?

    I'd have gone for that.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,501 ✭✭✭✭Slydice

cheese and onion mmmmm tasty eh crispyness and so forth

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,626 ✭✭✭smoke.me.a.kipper

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,446 ✭✭✭✭amp

Wow, it's neck and neck with cheese and onion and salt and vinegar. I don't get that. Salt and vinegar is causing teh burning and teh goggles tehy do nothing?

I suppose it's the same as salt and vinegar on chips. Except, er, they're not chips. They're crisps. They also taste far superior to the Cheese and Onion crisps IMO. It's kinda bittersweet in a way.

Cheese and Onion (tayto) is da sheet :) Walkers Cheese and Onion, though, is manky.

I don't mind salt and vinegar crisps either, but I love salt and vinegar on my chips.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,202 ✭✭✭Swifty

Cheese and onion all the way, preferably Tayto, but Walkers is acceptable.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,922 ✭✭✭Dave

Cheese and Onion as it was and always will be. Walkers definately or some variety of pup crisps, followed by frisps, followed by tayto followed by those 10p mank perri ones or something.

    pringles and walkers!

Ye just can't beat MSG enhanced munchies

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 6,275 ✭✭✭Shinji

Cheese and Onion all the way, especially if we're allowed to cheat a bit with the dairy produce and count Sour Cream and Onion as being the same thing.

Walkers for preference. You can get huge bags of walkers cheese and onion in waterloo station. I like to call them "dinner".

hate to tell yas lads, but the best crips experience is as following:

take 1 bag of cheese & onion chrisps, and empty a bag of bacon fries into it. Follow with a few of those hot'n'spicy flavour pringles. Then proceed to douse the whole lot with 3 or 4 sachets of vineger and a fair bit of salt.

    pure flavour

    mmmmmmmmmm:cool:

Somone mentioned Bacon Fries there... Bacon fries are indeed in possesion of my pantaloons. Nothing beats bacon fries and a frosty pint.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 6,275 ✭✭✭Shinji

Oh too damn right. I could munch through a trough of bacon fries as long as someone kept the guinness coming. They're the best boozing snack ever invented, although the Onion Ring Tree comes a close second...

Anyone ever had these garlic and chili flavoured crisps that I can't remeber the name of. They were crinkled, they came in a yellow shiny pack, were spicy as hell and gorgeous. The only place I ever saw them was the bus stop newsagents near the gaiety. Mmmm garlichili.
