I couldn't find the answer anywhere on the net so a big pat on the back to whoever gets it.
I'll post the answer when there is a few responses, cos its a bit suprising (and yes you should know him:))

This is a fairly famous person yeah ? I thought a not so famous actor would be the winner.

If its very famous maybe Sam Jackson or Gene Hackman, but I'm thinking some supporting actor would be it.

I'm impressed - It was only the other night I saw him in Mississippi Burning. I count 39 feature films on IMDB coz you don't count that TV muck. I think Samuel L. Jackson is at 37. So until I find one higher....
