£100, for FTA cards-Robbery!!
Regarding the panisonic box-I got mine on one of the auction sites-complete with bbc Card for around £200 Irish.
But good luck to them-fools and their money easily parted and the like.

You can get new Pace boxes for less than IR£150 with FTV cards from ebay, and Panasonics for IR£200 or less with bbc cards, though the DSB30 is known to cost more (up to IR£100 more) than the DSB31 as it has a much better tuner for those living in fringe areas.

BTW, isn't what this company doing illegal in some way; selling viewing cards only meant for use in the UK and once free?

Are you sure. What ISP & news server are you using? I find it hard to beleive that any Irish isp, at least, doesn't carry the IE newsgroups. I use Clara for news, a UK ISP, and they even have it.
