Nearly ever other forum has a best of year, so why not us as well. :)

What would be the top fiction/non-fiction read last year(2001)

    Mine:
    F -
1 "Neverwhere" by Niall Gaiman, a story of London that exists in the shadows,
2 "Shadow of the Hegemon" by Orson S. Card, a side series from the Ender's Game books

    NF-
1 "No Logo" - Naomi Klein, I may not have agreed with her conclusions but it makes one look again seriously at ads/brands.
2 "Band of Brothers" - Steven Ambrose, book which the TV series base on of the 101st Airborne.

have to agree Manach about No Logo - very interesting read - and the Poisonwood Bible is also worth a try

No offence, but shouldnt it be about books published in the last year, not books read :)

Have to think though....too many good reads in the last year...

Kitchen Confidential for non-fiction , very good and funny book.

And David Fincher might make it into a movie ! Weird.
