q1 laptop sound problem

for some reason my dell latitude seems to forget that its got laptop speakers and resets to desktop speakers every time i switch it off.
any one had this problem and got a solution?

Well i presume u know ur way around ur laptop better than me.
Is there any software in control panel with relation to speaker settings?
What have Dell got to say about it.
How old is it?
Get on the phone and diala****wit.dell
Oh yeah be prepared to **** about on the phones for about 5 mins press this button and that button and finally going on hold for an operator, then tell them that haveing that system is not the best remedy for an already infuriated customer to **** about on the fone for 5 mins getting further ticked off!

send it back! if its under warranty.

there's an option in multimedia but thats where i keeps reseting itsself...

can't really ring dell as i'm in sweden
laptop is only about 2months old, if even that
