    It seems that the few of us in Ireland who have been "fortunate"(?) enough to get the product, and have accepted the fact that we won't get text on the digital channels, are not alone.

    There's an interesting thread http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?threadid=91705 happening where lots of UK viewers are also being royally shafted. It seems that NTL are modifying their digiboxes amongst other things to ensure the consumer loses out.

    Maybe the rumoured take overs mightn't be such a bad idea after all. It's either that or switching to Sky...

    Facinating thread, NTL realy are a complete shower!

    Downgrading by removing text capability (not that we have that anyway) and the indepentent analogue thru is truly cheapskate!

    As you say MM, we better hope, a our boxes behave and, b
    that someone comptetent buys them out.

    BTW I'm still waiting for the internet deal/eircom paperwork
    to be sent! I waited, then phoned, then waited and now
    nothing can be done till new year.:mad:
