I only had my first kebab around 2 or 3 months ago in ZAYTOON.

I'd say Zaytoon is probably the best in Dublin anyway... there's a restaurant called Sinners a little down from that which does Lebanese, I've never been there, but I imagine they might do a good kebab.....
Adnans is really the man to talk to though....

I had the most amazing kebab from a small place on Baggot street. It is a kiosk connected to a pub I think next door.

Ismael Kebap I think it is called. It beats Iskanders hands down but I've never tried Zaytoon...

I've never tried that kiosk on baggot st. , but i've tried just about everywhere else.

I've found zaytoon to be the best. the food is consistantly good, and its not bad to get a meal for £6.

I'm not sure, but I think it closed. Oddly enough I still prefer the good old Abrakebabra type - not mad about lumps of fat and grizzle.

    I agree.
I see a lot of these places with the Kebab meat rotating in the window.
Usually, when it is made up of real lamb, the meat does look very fatty.

I prefer to get my fat fed to me surreptitiously !

I had an excellent chicken kebab in romayos in maynooth. Considering its a fast food takeaway, the kebab was delicious. It appeared that they actually had fried chicken breast in the kebab, and a decent sauce! A pleasant surprise.

The Kebab House down Dominic Street in galway do lovely Kebabs and Burgers and it is within 2 seconds walk of some fine beer distribution centers.

"The Dubliner" magazine is naming Iskanders as the best Kebab place in Dublin.

They obviously don't have a clue what they're on about.

    Definitely:

    Zirocco (formerly Alanya's)
    Zaytoon
    That place on Liffey Street
    Iskanders

Yes. But look at the date. Zirocco, Alanya and Momos didn't exist when that was published.
