    The shame ...

    :)

btw 19th sucks for us (well me & c22 anyways - xmas party). Also 8pm is too late to be looking for seats in the Porterhouse, you'll wanna be in there by 6.30 to stand a chance of a decent area. I know it's a Wednesday, but it's near christmas so will be jammers.

    How about the 18th?

    Al.

Bah, the PH is always jammers. Turk's Head would be good if there's a decent turnout (not like last time... splitters)

Ok we'll start in the PH and move on from there.

So it's the 19th Decemeber, the Porter House Parliment st. Dublin 2. 7pm onwards.

    Hows that for everybody?

    [edit]
I'll change that back to the 19th. I not free on tuesday nights.

For God's sake, not the bloody Porter House!! How about Mulligans on Poolbeg Street - best Guiness in Dublin and no ****ey music to shout over.

Fine, forget it. Somebody else can arrange it, I've tried my best, slaved over a keyboard, waited for the oh so slow boards to load and done my best to keep you all happy. I give in.

Monty you can delete this thread at your leisure.

i move we return to the previous idea of the 18th,
since the porter house so obivously sucks, someone mentioned the turks head ?

if not lets get some alternatives out, so post away

Agreed. Someone buy him a drink (I'm err, busy).

Ok, here's a list of the suggestions so far:

    - The Porter House
    Pros: Lovely beer, nice place
Cons: Unreal busy jammers packed too many people no seats :)

    - Mulligans
Pros: Less noisy musak, nice Guinness, Old mans pub
    Cons: Old mans pub :)

    - Turks Head
Pros: Big, decent musak, near Templebar
Cons: I might meet this chick again..

    err, ok? Well then,

    Times:

    - Tue 18th, 7pm
    - Wed 19th, 7pm

18th is good for some of us, 19th for others. How about 2 nights, post your preference!

Couple of pints (damn that's witty):

    - Monty, you may not delete this thread at your leisure or you will answer to me when I'm pissed some night :)

    - Evil Phil, you're learning how much of a biatch it is to get this people into a pub. Don't worry, we see your pain (and raise it a fiver) :)

    Later,
    Al.

More like it! Right any of those pubs will do; The 19th is a better night for me but I could turn up for one or two on the Tuesday after 10. So I'll pick a name out of a hat. Oh, what a coincedence, its the Porter House.

    my vote:
Porter House, the 19th, 7 pm. (we can always move on after a few)

19th sucks for me... will be knackered after taking in a double sized delivery of kegs, bottles, etc.

It just struck me as I was walking through town today... why don't all the L33T people meet up at the LE£T BANK bar just off FL33T STREET ... seems strangely appropriate ;) (if you take the £ to be an E not an F... of course)
