    What really saddens me is that reading through articles like this, you come across comments like this, from Paul Barker of Freeserve: "It is a pity that we find ourselves in this position having to play catch-up with the rest of the world," he said.

    I mean, when you read stuff like this about the UK, which has bitstream and unbundled flat-rate and broadband products, and hundreds of operators and ISP's, and then you look at Ireland, with the politicians still talking about the fscking "regions", you have to think, "What are we like?"
