Help with EPG

    Hi,

    Been reading your posts for a while... excellent help for us non teckies .. but this is my first post; basically 'cause I need some help !

    Tried to tune in UTV/ITV etc. over the weekend but there seems to be a problem with the EPG. None of the channels display the channel name etc. when scrolling through or in the 'favorites' section and if I try to do a TV Guide it just sits there for ever.

    When I tried to tune in the ITV channels it couldn't find a signal and it couldn't find a signal on anyof the other frequencies either.

    Any Ideas,

    If the channels on the EPG are not displaying their names and the box hangs when you press tv guide, try unplugging your box for about 5 seconds, then plugging it back in and waiting 30 seconds before switching it on and that should fix it.

    As for adding ITV, see Charles' thread at the top of the board. Check to make sure that all the settings are correct (ie. the symbol rate is set to 22.0 and the FEC is set to 5/6).
