After seeing Bonkeys thread, saying that he wasn't going to post his thread after he read WWM's thread I was going to post this, so now I am.

Some of this was brought up before, but thats the point I'm going to try to make. WWM says that most of the topics here are boring and repetitive, hands up who agrees. I bet you a free turkey for christmas that most people with more than 6 months here put up their hands, whereas people with less time than that might not have. The answer depends on a how soon after they joined they discovered the humanities board. My point is however, that new people to the board will not find that the discussions are a bit rutly* because it will be the first time that they have ever discussed online what they are discussing (probably). This means that posts such as WWM's will not give much encouragement to the new people on discussing something that may or may not have been discussed before.

What I would like to say to those people is post something that you think is important, no matter if you have seen it posted a hundred times before, don't be offput by what WWM said, because I know he didn't mean it to be offputting it was just an introduction to his thread.

You can also use the FAQ, but I know personally that I would much rather post a new thread.

Anyways not really much to discuss here, it was just a post of encouragement for the new people (apparently we have 100 new people a week).

Oh also please don't reply to a post saying that this has been posted before *moan*moan*moan*, I don't have any examples and I'm not accusing anybody, but it is very annoying for the poster who posted and for people who want to discuss the thread. If you have nothing to contribute, then dont contribute anything.

*Warning: it may not be possible to find marked words in a dictionary, you may have to use your english skills to figure out the meaning.
