The City Arts Centre is closing down this Thursday the 29th. This is not a good thing, especialy for the staff who will lose their jobs, visit their website, get in touch with them, if nothing but to let them know you care. The City Arts Centre runs on a non profit basis supporting all aspects of the arts including music, film, theatre, dance, art etc.. The fact that it is closing down so that it can be "evaluated" and then more than likely sold by the Arts Council, just plain sucks.

    Seán.
