Nice soundscape Mike, I couldn't hear it properly on good speakers but I can imagine what you are trying to achieve.

I think it would sound good with a little bass sounds beneath - maybe by a deep bass vocal, growly style, I have used that effect in that kind of thing and it is great.

Also I cant listen to that for long as I have a bit of a small attention span, I love change. It's like being in the room of one smell and eventually you don't smell the smell any more. If you had a special chord change as a "chorus" (you may be against that though!), just even one change would break up the effect of what you are doing.

But very nice and real sounding. (was that a Bhodran at the end?)

Keep us posted on your latest achievements.

Staxdrum, that is great stuff you have there. (I love the Hendrix too! or is it him?). You sound like an Ozric Tentacles man, yes?:)

Is that you or samples on the drums? freakin kicking drums.
    And the guitar?

The kind of song you need to put up full blast while driving your F1 car round Monte Carlo on a sunny day.

You should consider publishing your music especially for the games market, if not getting a record deal and going public!

Just a quick note about the beginning and end though. I really think you should use a real bass for the beginning bass line, in fact the whole bass line if possible. The end sample of the brass sounds pretty bad I have to say, sorry, I have always disliked that sample. It reminds me of cinema adverts for some reason.

    ;)

Thanks for the words Gordon, I have to admit to
using long slow even static sections in my music,
I really like fast rock music ( I was bought up on Deep Purple!)
but I can't play fast or even have a guitar and have adopted space music and ambient styles as a cover for my lack of "chops". :)
and no that was not a Bhodran at the end!

Steve I'm d/ling your track it sounds promsing...

    Mike.
